Hot Temperatures and Focus Vitamins
Share
Now that the temperatures are rising, we thought it would be a good time to remind you that when left outside in extreme temperatures, vitamins (and other supplements) can lose their potency and even melt.
To prevent your vitamins from melting or sticking to each other, it is important to avoid leaving them outside for extended periods of time. This includes not leaving your vitamins sitting in the car or in the mailbox.
Keep an Eye on Your Tracking Number
Whenever a Focus Vitamins order is placed, online or by phone, a tracking number is provided by email once the order is shipped. We recommend keeping an eye on the tracking number so that you can get your vitamins as soon as they arrive. If you are not able to get your mail and rely on somebody else to get it for you, consider sharing the tracking number with them.
USPS Package Intercept®
Focus Vitamins are shipped via USPS and, unfortunately, not all delivery trucks are equipped with air conditioning. As mentioned before, this can cause the vitamins to melt or stick to each other. Luckily, you can request that your local Post Office holds the package for you until you, or someone else, can pick it up. This ensures that your package is not sitting in a hot truck outside, but inside, hopefully at room temperature. Click here to learn more about this service.
