Hot Temperatures and Focus Vitamins: Storage Tips for Clinics

As temperatures climb, it’s important to remind your team and patients that heat can compromise supplement quality. High temperatures can cause vitamins to melt, stick together, or lose potency, potentially affecting compliance and outcomes.

Best Practices for Summer Shipments

To ensure your patients receive their supplements in optimal condition, remind them (and your staff, if you stock products in-clinic) to avoid leaving vitamins in hot environments like mailboxes, delivery trucks, or parked cars.

Track Every Shipment

For every Focus Vitamins order, whether placed online or by phone, a tracking number is emailed once the order ships. We encourage you to share this information with patients and advise them to monitor delivery progress—especially in warmer months. If someone else is retrieving the mail, sharing the tracking number can help avoid delays.

Use USPS Package Intercept®

Because Focus Vitamins are shipped via USPS—and not all delivery trucks are climate controlled—we recommend considering USPS Package Intercept®. This service allows your patients (or your clinic) to request that packages be held at the Post Office rather than delivered to a hot location. Learn more here →

If you or your staff have any questions about summer shipping best practices or need help with an order, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at (855) 663-6287 or email info@focusvitamins.com. We’re here Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM EST.
